During this journey we will be visiting as many different venues as we can, to find out what makes them tick & what makes them stand out to be the perfect venue.
We’ve started our journey in the Southeast of England, why? Because there is a trend happening, a trend that is taking ‘Events Beyond London’, clients are looking for venues that have more outdoor space, are more unique & are outside of the M25, but within easy travelling distance.
In this blog we will be looking at The Spa Hotel, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent.
Our first Opinion
We found the Spa Hotel tucked away on the out skirts of town, on the main through road, so well placed for easy access. The grounds at the front are small, but as soon as we walked in through the main entrance to reception we were immediately greeted by a very bright, beautifully decorated space.
As is common with hotels of its age, it was like a Tardis, from the front it seemed quite small, but inside it was much larger & the gardens out the back provide a beautiful space for outdoor events.

Set in 14 acres of picturesque grounds close to the centre of Royal Tunbridge Wells, the spa town from which its name is derived, the hotel first opened its doors to guests in 1880 & has since been built a reputation for style, sophistication, relaxation & fine dining.
Within easy access of the A21 & M25 & a short walk from Tunbridge Wells mainline train station with frequent links to London, The Spa Hotel is the perfect place for conferences, functions or meetings.

executive board meting for 4, they have 8 different function rooms equipped to the highest standards and they can configure their rooms to any style of conference to match your business needs so are guaranteed to be able to accommodate your requirements.
Our overall opinion.
We really loved this venue, it was surprisingly bright inside for the age of the building. Each space was warm & welcoming, with a nice variety of different sized spaces suitable for meetings, seminars or conferences.
Our favourite room was the orangery, looking out on to the grounds, it was like being in the great outdoors, a great setting for brightening up any seminar or conference.
